Scott L. Mingus, Sr. is a multiple award-winning author, having written or co-written two dozen nonfiction books on the American Civil War and the Underground Railroad. He will address Targeted Tracks: The Cumberland Valley Railroad in the Civil War, 1861-1865 which he coauthored and was reviewed by the Round Table.
He is a retired scientist and executive in the global paper industry and holds patents in self-adhesive postage stamps and bar code labels. A Ohio native, he is a graduate of the paper science and engineering program at Miami University and was part of the research team that developed the first commercially successful self-adhesive U.S. postage stamps.
